Ruth Kabera

Ruth is a Kenyan student, studying Environmental Science and Education.
She is very passionate about Global Sustainable Development and recently has had a growing interest in Free flowing rivers and fish migration as part of reaching this goal. She is currently working as a volunteer for the World Fish Migration Foundation. Her interest to work for the organization grew due to her growing concern of the poor conditions of most African rivers and most fish species being under threat of extinction. Her goal is to see fish migration knowledge grow in Africa and the removal of dams being implemented in most African countries. She has worked as a volunteer for the Green Africa Foundation, a non profit organization concerned with Environmental Health and Education. She has also been a leader of Environmental Club in her University where she is studying. Her role as a volunteer for the foundation would be working towards the World Fish Migration Day 2020.
