When I was a little boy, I went hiking with my family in Europe during the holidays. We always came accross some rivers, where we would eat our home made sandwhiches. We always liked to change the flow of the river with the rocks in the water.
For decades mankind has built dams and weirs to control nature and therefore blocked the free flow of the river. The consequence is divided rivers and the decline in huge numbers of fish species. A few weeks ago I read a story about restoring the flow of a river in Estonia, where 3.000 KM is now free of barriers and fish can migrate upstream again. After reading this story I felt the urge to help restore the damage created by mankind. I have a deep believe that we can and should coexist with nature and I want to change the flow of the river again with this amazing team of fishheads!
