World Fish Migration Day
A multi-genre three-day festival focusing on migratory fish species and barriers on rivers. Activities will be designed for schools and the public. Lectures for primary school pupils, interactive exhibitions, river wading and environmental slam poetry will take place in the ecological centre of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters. In the framework of art workshops, a giant “fish” graffiti will be created and together we will create the longest possible eel from various materials to decorate the premises of the centre.
Visitors will see a variety of migratory fish species in the aquariums and learn about them. They can also visit the fish hatchery and learn about sturgeon rescue breeding.
