Opening of the Haddam Shad Museum

This is a free museum that has a lot of information about Atlantic American Shad that migrate into the Connecticut River between April and June of each year. There are many displays and someone will be there to meet people and answer any questions about the Shad Migration. We will be open on May 23,2026 from 11:00 to 4:00. Also, the museum will be open every Sunday until June 15, 2026, 11:00 to 3:00 and by special appointment.
