Amphidromous gobies are a diverse group of tiny fish that live between rivers in Papua New Guinea and elsewhere in the IndoPacific and the sea.

To celebrate the amazing migration of these tiny fish, we have created Gobies Go Round-Round, a colourful and poetic comic book that shares about these fishes life cycle along with a number of interactive activities to engage children (and people of all ages). This comic book and a short video we designed to guide children through the ‘create your own poster’ at the back of the book will be presented by Member for Parliament, Elias Kapavore at Pomio Primary School on the weekend of the World Fish Migration Day celebration. The posters created by children at Pomio Primary School will be exchanged with students at YYG Login Fach school in Swansea, Wales as a way to co-celebrate fish migrations that occur across the two regions.

To continue the migratory fish celebration, the comic books, video, and related teacher/parent/guardian resources will be available to everyone around the world on FIRE Lab Kids website https://firelabkids.uk/ from 21 May 2022.
