Fish Migration Awareness Week is a campaign hosted by NRF-SAIAB (South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity) and it aims to highlight the importance of World Fish Migration Day. This campaign will consist of a social media plan that showcases the work and research done by SAIAB scientists in freshwater ecosystems to protect migratory fish, feature books available at the SAIAB library that provide information and literature on the subject and, last but not least, a trip to two local high schools where our researchers will engage with Grade 11 Life Science learners.
