Our Fabulous Freshwater Fish

Join us to celebrate World Rivers Day and World Fish Migration Day, a global event to celebrate rivers and learn about the importance of open rivers and migratory fish.
A multi-agency fun event for the public of Christchurch will be held (27th September 10-3pm, Christchurch South Library). Lots of Freshwater fish experts will be on hand to show you some of our fabulous freshwater fish, what is special about them, and how they need to move within our rivers, and to and from the sea!

Week 21-26th Sept - Some displays and story times focussed on freshwater fish and fish passage will be held at Tūranga (Christchurch Central library) and Christchurch South Library
Come on down and join in the fun.
