Join Unlocking the Severn on a journey up the UK’s longest river, to discover more about the migratory fish that call the Severn their home.
Through a series of videos, released on our Facebook page throughout the day, we will be sharing an insight into the lives of the fish that migrate up the Severn, highlighting the problems they face and the work being done to re-open over 150 miles of river for rare and endangered species, including the twaite shad.

This event is organised by ‘Unlocking the Severn’, a conservation and river engagement project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and EU Life. Unlocking the Severn is a partnership project delivered by Canal and River Trust, Severn Rivers Trust, Environment Agency and Natural England.
