SOET’s mandate is to build climate resilience in communities through the implementation of climate mitigation and adaptation programs. We aim to reduce vulnerability to climate and other related shocks through building effective and sustainable community driven mitigation and adaption interventions that reduce vulnerability to the effects of climate change. SOET promotes climate justice at grassroot community level through assisting these communities mitigate, adapt, and build resilience to the effects of climate change
