Benton Alewife Festival
The Benton Alewife Festival is a celebration of the return of the alewives to the Sebasticook river. This is a family friendly event for people of all ages. Attendees are treated to a number of free activities that focus on the “Maine Outdoors” while learning about the importance of the Alewife to the Maine ecosystem.
This year the event will be held on May 18th, 11-3pm at the riverside park at the Benton Town Office.
