The event is the awareness activity among the local communities to understand the crucial role of connectivity between the marine and freshwater for the sustainability of capture fisheries resources for the sustainable capture fisheries livelihood. The event will be organized with the local communities in Magyi area situated along the Rakhine Coastal Region in Myanmar. The awareness talk will be conducted, beach clean up activity will be organized and take a photo with happy fish logo and community on the beach.

The Marine Science Association Myanmar (MSAM) is registered Non-Profit Local Organization, composed of marine science graduates founded in 2008 in Myanmar. The vision of the MSAM is “Sustainability of natural resources through systematic management approach by concerned stakeholders collaboratively to mitigate the impact in the future climate change scenario.
