Re-Connecting Vermont’s Rivers: For Fish, People, and Communities
Do you know that VT has nearly 1,000 dams on its rivers? While many owners and communities are strongly attached to their dams, their continued presence comes at a cost to fish passage, cause safety hazards, and compromise the health of our waters.
Join us for an engaging 1-hour webinar about VT’s dam history and its impacts, how the environmental community is coming together to help remove derelict dams, and a dam removal success story at Wood’s Lodge in Northfield. Q&A will follow the 30-minute presentations.
The webinar is free and open to the public but you do have to register. (insert link)
