Chester Fish Monitoring Trap Open Day

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is opening the Chester fish monitoring trap to the public for a few hours to celebrate World Fish Migration Day. It is an opportunity to come and see some of the projects and work that is being done on the River Dee to improve the river and it’s catchment for fish (and other species!). There will be a chance to see how fish are monitored here, find out what the information is used for and why it’s important for our fish populations of salmon, sea trout and lamprey.
